[OSENWORLD] A decade into their career, DAY6 is reflecting on defining moments and looking ahead — with their fans, My Day, at the center of it all.

The band recently marked the milestone with two anniversary shows in Goyang as part of the DAY6 10th Anniversary Tour . The shows made history as the first outdoor stadium concerts headlined by a Korean band. For Sungjin, it felt like a gift: “Those nights were a present from My Day. Every day we spend with them is filled with happiness.”

Young K recalled the excitement building before stepping on stage: “From the moment we set foot there, I thought, ‘I really am living a happy life.’” Wonpil said it still feels surreal: “From Yes24 Muv Hall in 2015 to Gocheok Dome and now an outdoor stadium — it all feels unreal, and it’s all thanks to My Day.” Dowoon added, “Every stage we stand on is because of our fans. Wherever they are, that’s where we want to perform.”

Each member shared moments that remain etched in memory. Sungjin said he draws strength from seeing fans’ faces and expressions, while Young K noted, “These days might be the ones I want to remember most. I feel relieved tears well up.” Wonpil cited the 2023 year-end concert as unforgettable, and Dowoon pointed to the joy of reuniting with the group after four years apart.

They also reflected on what has changed — and what has not. Sungjin joked that appearances may have shifted most, but his love for people remains the same. Young K said their skills had grown, but their essence stayed constant. Wonpil admitted he had learned to value people more, while Dowoon felt he had come to know himself better.

At the heart of it all is My Day. Sungjin called them “friends,” Young K described them as “love,” and Dowoon described them as “an endless source of gratitude.” Wonpil summed it up with a message that resonated deeply: “My Day is our life partner. DAY6 cannot move forward without them. We exist because of them.”
